Well,the dreaded redundancy monster reared it's ugly head again,and this time with a vengeance!!! The last two times, we had been told wether our job was 'at risk' or not, then volunteers for redundancy were asked for. NOT SO THIS TIME. big sigh of relief, the lifeline has come through, so I know I'll have to keep a tight watch on my finances for a month or two, but now the bank will be off my bank, and all my bills will be paid...

my boss said, 'don't forget you've got to take three weeks off before the end of the year', so i asked for two particular weeks, got one of them, and that is this week. so... i got the car through it's MOT test, tidied up things I've been meaning to do for months, and now I'm trying to sort out my finances ( Read more... )
